R2S is a joint venture manufacturing company formed by RTX and the Israeli-based Rafael Advanced Defense Systems to build the Iron Dome system's interceptor and the SkyHunter Interceptor (US variant) in the United States.

 

The venture will build the Iron Dome interceptor and launchers capable of intercepting cruise missiles, unmanned aircraft, rockets, artillery, mortars and other threats. With thousands of operational intercepts at a high success rate, it is the world’s most-used battle proven system in its class. ​​​​​​​
